We're all mad here.

“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

Dear mad readers. This used to be my cat. Her name is Wally. I adopted her from an animal shelter, but when I broke up with my boyfriend, I had to leave her behind, because I didn't had a place to stay yet.
I'm really sorry for her that I had to let her go.
I love cats, because of their attitude and they're always looking so peaceful. Enjoying their lifes.
Wally woke you up when her feeding box was empty. It took a while before she actually loved us. I didn't know what happened to her before we got her, but she enjoyed staying with us after a while.
Sometimes I'll try to figure out a plan to get her back, but that's not possible, so I remember the good times with her. Here some pictures of her. :)

It's full of flowers and heart shaped boxes

"The book of love is long and boring. No one can lift the damn thing. It's full of charts and facts and figures and instructions for dancing"  - Gavin James

When things are chancing and we all struggle to fit in, we long for the old times. At work we had a new years eve meeting. Our boss did a speech. Usually speeches are long and boring and are written formally.  This one was inspiring and gave you stuff to think about.
I wish I could read the exact words, but I couldn't find them. It do my best to explain the words he said.

We Europeans like to work for our future. We love to make money and spend it as well. We live like we're never going to die. We're not living in the present and when we're getting sick, we change our habits for a few weeks, maybe months, but afterwards we're getting back to our old routine.

We're working hard and we hope to get a house, tv, travel, ... one day. But sometimes it is better to forget what you want and be happy with what you have. This is, of course, easier said than done. Society gives a certain pressure of having all those things. It's 'normal' to have a house, having children,...

I love to think about all those things. I try to ban the media by watching television as little as possible, don't answer my phone for a couple of hours, etc.

What do you think about this speech?

Begin Again

'Worring means you suffer twice" ~ Newt Scamander

Do you know that feelings, when everything starts to fall into place again. That something you worked for is transforming into something beautiful. And finally, when you look at the stars, they smile back at you. Because before they were nothing more than judging eyes.
There are moments where we just seem to forget what actually makes this world beautiful. Things that society might ruin, but then again make us stronger. It creates determination, the strenght to just continue even in the darkest of days. We should not be choosing the easy path. We might just miss all the adventures on that road. We should choose between what is right.

I have been through a lot last months of 2016. But we all fall to get up again. The meeting with my old friends from high school made me realize how much I actually miss art. Art history, discovering new artists, creating, painting... I will be spending 2017 a lot more expanding my knowledge and passion.

“It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.” ~ Dumbledore

Besides that, "Fantastic Beasts" has gotten me into the Harry Potter mood again. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living (Dr. Seuss). I admire JK. Rowling's imagination. A talented writer who is able to create an entire world. A world we somehow all want to be part of. When I found out Newt Scamander was a magi-zoologist I was trilled. I adore animals and if I was able to get a job in the wizarding world, it might just be it. That's why I decided to create his Notebook. I research what creatures exist in their world, what they look like,... and try to put it all together.

Anyway, my sister and I are very proud to be in Hufflepuff. What house are you sorted in?
