Things never happen the same way twice

What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing. It also depends on what sort of person you are.”C.S. Lewis

Hello dear mad readers, we finally changed our layout again. Paris and I both agreed on getting this template and I think its beautiful. I still have to make a few changes because not everything seems te be working, but it's a good start.
Paris and I met a few day ago to shot these pictures. The weather was very hot, so we spend time walking though the little forest behind her house. My sister has a lovely view on her balcony and it's always so much fun to have a drink there or just enjoy the sun. Besides that, we also decided to start running again every Wednesday. It's fun that we can spend more time together and it's also a great way to relax. Besides that I also want to make a to do list. I always want to do so many things, but I just don't seem to be doing them. So I want to write them down to remind me and cross of things on the list gradually. Anyway, summer is starting and it seems I will spend most of the time inside studying, unfortunately. Do you guys have plans this summer?

A Day in Antwerp

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.”  ~ Dr. Seuss
.

Paris and I went to Antwerp. We first visited the park where we had a picnic. After lunch we headed toward the 'Meir'. We were looking for clothes and both had something in mind, though it was very hard to find what we were looking for. Most of the shops were offering pretty much the same clothes; Boho style. I know summer is coming along with the festivals, but does that mean that every shop had to sell the same style? It was somehow very disappointing. But we managed to find some things to our liking. We bought new shoes, two skirts and a few crop tops. I think we will be searching the web for more modern pieces soon. Besides that we had a lot of fun. We drunk bubble tea and smoothies, which both were ideal beverages for warm weather. Time passed by so quickly and before we knew we had to catch the bus back home.

“She drew a deep breath. 'Well, I'm back,' she said.”

Sisters function as safety nets in a chaotic world simply by being there for each other~ Carol Saline

Paris writing here. It's been a long time. As you all know I'm living alone with my friend and my cat, Wally. Because I'm working full-time, it's been hard to find a moment to write for the blog. There was even little time left to see my sister. So we decided to have some quality time together. We took pictures, ate guacamole (like always), bought a  swimming pool, tasted the first strawberries, and watched football, because Belgium played against Wales. Sadly, they lost. But hey there was lots of Gin Tonic to drink.
This little red dress was bought in a local store for New Year and since the weather was hot, I decided to wear it again. The shoes are from Zara, beautiful yet painful, which is why I'm carrying them in the first picture. Rather sad because I can never wear them for a long distance (maximum 500 meters actually). I'm going to spend more time on the blog and see my sister more often, because having a sister is something you can't replace. Have a wonderful Sunday! Loves, Paris

Night is now Falling

"Over hill and under tree. Through lands where never light has shone...."

1. The teacup: as you perhaps know I adore tea. Therefore I'm always looking for beautiful teacups. I bought this one at the flee market. It is a Winsome, Royal Albert Bone China teacup. It was love at first sight.

2.  Mirror: This mirror was given to me by Maiko. A penpall friend. It so fragile and I actually don't use it. It has a precious spot on one of my shelves and I hope I can keep it in a good state. Maiko, I'm so sad that I can't contact you through line, somehow it doesn't work on my phone. I hope we can get in contact soon again.

3. Bracelets:  These are my favorite bracelets. They don't really have any special meaning, nor were they a gift. I think they just look so beautiful and somehow I'm starting to like gold more then silver.

4. Flower headband: this is the first headband I made. Every time I look at it I want to make so much more of them. I think they are such a perfect accessory in spring and summer. Can't wait to wear them soon again.

5. Spoon: I got this spoon at Elf Fanasy Fair, it was kind of a souvenir. I hope this pretty little thing will remind me of the amazing time I had there with Cathy and Romy!

6. Eleanor & Park: a book I totally adore! The writing is amazing, the plot is great. I was just dazed by how wonderful it was.
