Dreamland

Hello Maddies! We're back! Something terrible happened! We lost our camera on the train! We were so upset and we could almost cry! We did everything to get it back and guess what, the camera was send back to Turnhout! (We hope the camera is still in the bag of course).  We will see. The trainstation will call us from  the moment when it arrives. We are so lucky!

This is a dreamy outfit post with a fluffy vest from Romwe! We like it so much! It is really soft and warm. Perfect for autumn. We love autumn. The trees changes, the weather gets colder. Time for something new.

How to Make Sushi

Since we got a reaction of how to make sushi, we decided to make a simple "tutorial". I think this is the first time we are actually doing this, so we hope this is clear enough to make it yourself. It's actually very easy but it takes a lot of time.

1. The ingredients/ requirements

You can choose what you want, in our case we have chosen carrots and cucumber, and salmon.  Nori and sushi rice is necessary of course. Nori is seaweed to explain it simple. The sushi rice gets sticky when it's cooked!

- Sushi rice
- Nori
- Veggies
- Fish
- a bow with water
- Bamboo mat

For the rice, just follow the instructions on the package. We had to put it in cold water for 30 minutes, cook it 10 minutes and let it cool down a little. Meanwhile you can of course chop the vegetables.

1. Place the nori on the bamboo mat. You notice you have a side that doesn't shimmer that much, put that side above.
2. Make your hands wet in the bow of water so the rice doesn't stick to your hands. Then place the rice on the nori, like in the picture.
3. Place the salmon above the rice.
4. Place the vegetables on the salmon.
5. Now you you have to roll it, this looks harder then it actually is!
6. Chop it in pieces and you're done!

We want our own space

We often think about our own space, a place for yourself. Now I just decorate my room with things I like. Teacups, teapots, little sculptures, books,... everything a normal room has, I guess. I felt like taking detail shot. We hope you like them. Have a wonderful week!

After watching the movie: "Memoirs of a Geisha" we got inspired. It's a beautiful movie and it's filmed lovely. The story is originally from a the writer Arthur Golden. Now I'm looking forward to reading the book as well. The one thing that was disturbing me was that the Japanese actors were talking English. It was hard to understand. I think it would have had more charm if the original language remained Japanese and they just had used English subtitles. Of course that's my opinion. A movie definitely worth watching!

Hello again, we hope you had a lovely weekend! We again have an outfit post for you. This time with the special dress from Romwe. Don't you love the design. The color attached to the dress, and the with and grey together. We really adore it. We matched the clutch of Chicwish with it since the color fits so perfectly. The Alice in Wonderland earrings from L.O.L.A are the prefect finishing touch  don't you agree. We really wear them a lot since we think they are very cute.

This was London's outfit of the Friday event of last week. A warm sweater from River Island, trousers and the lovely blouse from Romwe. Isn't it amazing that the print is just on one side of the blouse. Also the colors of the blouse fit lovely with the cardigan. A cozy autumn look and no coat required yet since we are not really in the mood to wear coats. Also, don't you think these vintage looking earrings from L.O.L.A are super adorable?! "Believe in Love." Perhaps if we all believe in it the world will become a better place! Let's believe! Now, lets believe that autumn will turn out wonderful this year! Are you all looking forward to Autumn?

Something to color your lips with

We thank you for all the lovely comments, which lead us to this post. We get more and more questions about our make-up and beauty products, so we decided to bring it a little more in our blog since it's actually related to fashion. I'll review these lipsticks since we often use them. We hope we helped you a little and we wonder if you would like more beauty reviews and post in the future. Enjoy!

1. Dior Addict: number 775. We use this one a lot. It's a nice and sweet pink color. The lipstick doesn't dry out your lips and it also stays on pretty long! We do recommend this one very much. Perhaps we'll persuade you more when you see them in outfit posts like here and here.
2. YSL: Rouge Volupté: number 22. This lipstick is very dark but also very greasy. We think it's very hard to find a proper lipstick with this color since we only end up buying dark lipsticks that are very greasy. But the color is definitely beautiful. Perhaps outfit post convince you with this one: here and here
3. Rouge Dior: number: 999. We don't have an outfit post with this lipstick jet, but we're very very satisfied about this one. They don't dry out your lips and this one stays one sooo long! I even drank coffee without loosing any color! I never been so satisfied about a lipstick!
4. Chanel Coco Rouge Shine: number: 46 Liberté. We love this peach lipstick since it isn't taking all the attention. It's also not drying out your lips, which is good. I don't remember the lasting of this one since it's been a while, but we'll inform you about that later.

5. Rimmel: Kate number: 70. The Kate lipsticks from Rimmel are good and much cheaper then those mentioned above. The colors are wonderful, but they do dry out your lips. Of course you can fix that problem, but if you don't take care of it then it doesn't feel comfortable. The lasting of these lipsticks also are good in our opinion! Shown here and here
6. Rimmer: Kate number 50.

In The City

It's Monday  we are all probably tired x') But hopefully this outfit post can cheer up your day. Hopefully the sun is shining there as well, because here it is and it makes us happy. This outfit was worn on the event from Friday  you can find more about it here. Paris is wearing the lovely mint skirt from chicwish. It even stays pretty in autumn! The color is so amazing and it should be even worn in autumn as well! We combined it with a flowered blouse, we probably don't wont to say goodbye to the flowers but the colors may fit the colored leaves soon! Also, don't you think these Alice in wonderland earnings from L.O.L.A are amazing! They are so sweet. It are our favorite earrings now!  It was a warm and comfy outfit for a day in Antwerp.
